I went out to the front to pick some mint, and the deer and I ran into each other, face to face. Don't know which of us was more startled.

Holy Cow!!!! I would've LOVED that. I also would've been super duper scared though. The boys think that's so cool.
wowza. i think i found a gecko in my back yard. really not as exciting. except when you break off their tail by accident. and only boys find that exciting
my office is relocating next week and i'm going to miss being right under a mountain. I'll miss seeing quail, jackrabbits and roadrunners in the mornings. :(
I've never seen a roadrunner. Nature is fun!
